The Orville (Premiere) mini review

The Orville is a lighthearted homage to all things Star Trek and Science Fiction. It’s clear that series creator, Seth McFarlane, loves the Star Trek franchise with his attempt at telling his humorous ‘everyman’ version of it but he clearly has some things to work on. This is his best live action attempt yet and, as a Trekkie myself, I hope he finds the series voice before it ends up where so many sci-fi series before it have gone before they hit their stride.
