Austin Texas- Music fan Jeffery Tyler woke up today to the discovery that no one had uploaded the set list from last nights They Might Be Giants concert at Stubbs BBQ in Austin, Texas.

‘At first I thought it might have been an oversight. There were at least 200 people at the show; surely someone would have thought to record the set list as they played.’ He said as he drank his latte at the local coffee house.

It was soon after that discovery that Tyler realized that maybe HE was meant to be that someone. Desperate for some validation that he had not failed the dozens of fans worldwide, he searched his email and phone messages for some sign that he was not the one chosen for this task.

‘I freaked out. I searched everywhere. NO ONE told me that I was THAT SOMEONE, who needed to record this historic moment in time. I can’t even find a message via AOL messenger!’

Crushed, Tyler has become a complete recluse desperate to remember the songs played that night.

‘I remember they played Birdhouse at the end but I really can’t remember much before that. It’s like there is a haze of some sort. This is a great tradition that was apparently passed down to me, I am afraid I have failed the fans….and the band.’

Singer, John Flansburgh, known to his fans as Flansy, declined to comment.

More on this story as it develops.
