Hey friends.

For the past four years I have diligently kept this blog going, but, as the title suggests, it’s time to take a break. Latetothegame started as a cathartic thing, a place where I could share my fandoms and love of pop culture with, well, whoever wanted to listen. Eventually it became a review site and I began tackling everything Star Trek, from TNG all the way through to, currently, the original series. In recent months, however, the blog became less of a cathartic outlet and more of a job, something I very much wanted to avoid.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am immensely proud of what this site has become and the thrilled that many of you have found joy in the content I have created here, but simply put, I need a break. I have several other projects that demand my attention and, well, I have found myself spread far too thin to give any of my many projects the proper attention they need.

This doesn’t mean the end of Latetothegame. Don’t worry about that. It’s just, a break. A respite. A breath. Rest assured, I am perfectly okay but, sometimes you just need to take some time away. Like the First Doctor, played by William Hartnell, said in The Dalek Invasion of Earth: ‘One Day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me I am not mistaken in mine.’

Until that time, I thank you all for the amazing support and love you have shown this site. I know I am leaving you on a little of a cliff hanger with Star Trek the Original series, but think of it as something to look forward to when I come back. The site will remain up and you can dive in to the plethora of content from the last four years until I come back to it.

Till then,

SR Kheas
